Why your email marketing sucks (and persuasive patterns to fix it)

by Colin Theriot on January 26, 2012

Hi there!

It’s Thursday once again, and that means tonight at 7PM Eastern, I’m hosting a new episode of my live chat show: Passion, Persuasion, and Profit.  Tonight, we’re going to talk about why most email marketing sucks.  Not only is it not as effective as it could be, but it’s usually boring and trite.

But don’t worry – writing snappy, persuasive emails that build your influence over your audience are actually VERY easy to write when you have a good pattern to follow.  Fortunately, I have SEVERAL! :)  Plus, they all have cool, wicked-sounding names…

I’m going to talk in detail about a few different “swipe-able” email patterns that I’ve used to do influence building for clients. I’m going to talk about what each pattern is, how to use it, and when to use it.

The ones I have on my list for tonight are:

  • The Value Bomb
  • The Superior Second Solution
  • The Noble Competitor
  • The Problem Primer
  • The Hunchback
  • The Piggyback

But please, bring your questions (and bring your own beer) – we’re going to have a good time AND teach you how easy it is to make more money with your email list (even if it’s teeny tiny)!

See you there,

Hate I missed this Colin! I was on the webinar with you this afternoon, and would have loved to hear your email suggestions. Might perk up my little bitty list. Down here in Arkansas we say little bitty. :)
